For our Competence Center Cement AMWA we are looking for a Senior Manager Operational Efficiency AMWA (f/m/d).
This position is located in Heidelberg, Germany and you will report to the Area Director CCC AMWA.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
Implement the Plant Operational Model in our AMWA Region:
Build the necessary networks
Work closely with the Global POM Manager
Prepare regular reports and keep track of the progress
Coordinate Group Initiatives within the Area to reach Group targets in Sustainability and Operational Performance Improvement as, Productivity benchmarking (Pilar 1 & 3), Cost benchmarking.
Drive studies into execution including business case evaluation
Work with Global CCC, GR&D, ESG and other Group departments to achieve set targets
Investigate and support the implementation of solutions and projects “out of the box”
Support HoD on priority issues that can be challenging due to ambiguity, complexity of problem, and cross-functional nature
YOUR PROFILE
University Degree in Engineering or Technology, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in cement or similar industrial application
Experience as a Plant Manager is beneficial
High social competence, excellent team spirit and intercultural understanding
Strong leadership, motivational, and team building skills in a multidisciplinary setting
Agile mindset to work in cross-functional teams and proactive, innovative, and value-driven thinking
Ability to demonstrate excellent lateral influencing skills and ability to manage multiple independent projects
Self-motivated with strong negotiating skills
Ability to manage changing situations effectively
Moderating skills and motivation for facilitating engaging (virtual) webinars, trainings, and workshops
Fluent English - Additional language skills are beneficial
Good know-how and application of state-of-the-art media and information technology
Willingness and ability to travel
