How we LEAD:

Famehouse, a division of Universal Music Group, is seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused Senior Manager, Merchandising to support global merchandise line planning across our artist roster. This role is responsible for owning the development and execution of product assortments that deliver against revenue, margin, and brand objectives across Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), U.S. Retail, International Retail, and Tour.


The Senior Manager, Merchandising serves as the day-to-day business owner for assigned artists, with accountability for executing line plans and delivering against financial targets. This role translates merchandising strategy into actionable assortments and drives execution across cross-functional teams.

How you'll CREATE:

  • Own execution of artist line plans that deliver against revenue and margin targets.
  • Translate merchandising strategy and artist vision into commercially viable assortments.
  • Drive product execution from concept through launch across channels.
  • Use performance data to inform in-season optimization and future planning.

Line Planning & Ownership

  • Own and execute seasonal and campaign-based line plans for assigned artists.
  • Build assortments by category, price point, and channel.
  • Support pricing and margin decisions in partnership with Finance and Production.
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept through launch and replenishment.

Channel Execution

  • Execute channel-specific merchandising strategies while ensuring alignment across DTC, Retail, International, and Tour.
  • DTC: Execute product drops, capsules, and exclusive assortments.
  • U.S. Retail: Develop assortments aligned to retailer needs and manage sell-through.
  • International Retail: Support localized assortments and pricing strategies.
  • Tour: Execute tour merchandise assortments and ensure operational readiness.

Data & Performance Management

  • Analyze sales, consumer behavior, and trends to inform decisions.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Incorporate retailer feedback into planning and adjustments.
  • Support test-and-learn initiatives.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner with Creative, Production, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables.
  • Support go-to-market execution.

Salary Range:

$79,190 - $100,000
