Senior Manager, Marketing Operations

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations will report to the Director, Marketing Operations and serve as the day-to-day operational support for the US Sales & Marketing teams. This role is responsible for managing essential processes that ensure smooth execution across key areas: speakers bureau support, print production, commercial displays and sponsorships, congress coordination, vendor and budget management.

The Senior Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to triage logistics, manage requests, and ensure timely execution of deliverables. While the role is primarily focused on daily operations, the ideal candidate will also contribute insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, strengthen processes, and enhance the overall customer experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Speakers Bureau

    • Partner with Speaker Bureau Operations Lead to support day-to-day operations including speaker contracting, training, logistics, and program execution.

    • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders to triage logistics, resolve issues and ensure smooth program delivery.

  • Print Production 

    • Management of US marketing print production end-to-end process:

      • Manage & track production of print promotional materials, partnering with brand team, alliance partners, brand team agency and print production vendor.

      • Partner closely with brand teams to identify new materials for early engagement with print production vendor to ensure optimized print design & spend.

      • Oversee physical inventory and fulfillment tracking, responding to field needs.

    • Partner with Marketing Operations Director on promotional materials forecasting and budget management

  • Commercial Sponsorships, Displays & Exhibits

    • Process incoming field team requests for sponsorships, exhibits, and local/regional displays.

    • Requires close coordination across field, internal compliance review committee, legal, procurement, and finance to ensure proper documentation and timely payments.

    • Ensure strategic guidance and budget parameters for local conferences are being followed by field teams.

    • Work directly with field liaison to identify local Congress staffing coverage, ensure content pull-through with the brand team, and any advertising or display opportunities, where applicable.   

  • Congress Operations

    • Provide operational support for US and Global major medical congresses (ASCO, ASH, ESMO, EHA, etc.) in partnership with the Commercial Congress Management team.

  • Operational Excellence & Innovation

    • Ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation, reporting, and dashboards to monitor program performance.

    • Continuously evaluate processes to identify improvements that drive efficiency and scalability.

    • Explore and apply AI tools and emerging technologies to strengthen collaboration and enhance marketing operations capabilities.

    • Partner with Marketing Operations Director to manage portfolio-wide view of marketing operations initiatives, evolving priorities and deliverables.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Close partnership with Brand Teams, Sales Operations, Omnichannel, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, Field teams, Medical, Market Access to ensure seamless execution, maintain process consistency, identify opportunities to optimize and elevate initiatives supporting a growing portfolio.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 4–8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, with at least 3 years in marketing operations, strategy and operations, sales operations, or project management.

  • Strong understanding of marketing operations processes, compliance requirements, and financial tracking.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams, with a customer‑focused, service‑oriented mindset.

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.

  • Extensive experience managing vendors and coordinating cross-functional projects.

  • Proficiency in platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce-based systems, MS Office, and MS Teams.

  • Previous oncology/hematology experience is preferred.

 

Where you will work:

This role is based out of our Princeton office and requires for you to be on site 60% of the time

 

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$129,920.00---$194,880.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
