Job Details:

The Senior Manager of Application Support for Supply Chain Logistics will lead a global, Follow‑the‑Sun support organization dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and rapid issue resolution. This leader will cultivate a strong training culture, drive accountability across SLAs, and reduce technical debt while ensuring system stability and uptime for mission‑critical logistics applications. Success in the role requires exceptional communication skills—including bilingual proficiency—and the ability to navigate effectively within large, matrixed enterprises, building trust with both business stakeholders and technical teams. Operating through influence as much as direct authority, the Senior Manager will partner closely with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and other technical domains to ensure end‑to‑end restoration during incidents. Ideal candidates bring hands‑on technical problem‑solving experience, strong domain knowledge in supply chain or operations, and a forward‑looking mindset that leverages AI and automation to optimize support processes and elevate service performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Agile Execution: Facilitate scrum practices focusing on technical delivery, ensuring that products are built on robust, scalable models.
• Broader Oversight: Manage a large team or multiple small teams, providing guidance and support to ensure operational success.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to define IT strategy and roadmaps, aligning technological initiatives with business priorities.
• Culture Driver: Foster a positive and innovative IT culture that aligns with organizational values, promotes continuous learning, and encourages collaboration across teams and departments.
• Drive Strategic IT Initiatives: Drive the implementation of strategic IT initiatives aligned with organizational goals, ensuring impactful results.
• Lead and Develop Teams: Lead and develop multiple teams of IT professionals across different specialties, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Manage Stakeholder and Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with key stakeholders and vendors, ensuring effective communication and successful partnerships.
• Mentorship & Development: Mentor team leads and managers on advanced techniques, helping them grow their technical expertise and leadership skills.
• Operations Excellence: Drive operational improvements across multiple IT teams, leverage data analytics to demonstrate effectiveness, and optimize resource allocation and budget management to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Project Guidance: Guide multiple teams in implementing complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet business requirements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Ensure frequent and effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
• Strategic Alignment: Align IT initiatives with broader business goals and strategies, ensuring technology supports long-term business objectives.
• Strategic Implementation: Ensure that IT practices are strategically implemented to support long-term business goals and objectives.
• Risk Management: Develop and oversee risk management processes for multiple IT teams, proactively addressing potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project and operational success.
• Technical Oversight: Provide oversight on the architectural and design aspects of IT, ensuring alignment with industry standards and business needs.
• Team Member Support and Empowerment: Actively support team members by identifying and creating opportunities for skill development, cross-functional exposure, and career advancement, ensuring their success and alignment with organizational goals.
• Vendor Management: To ensure optimal service delivery, evaluate and manage relationships with IT operations vendors and service providers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned, which align with our organization's vision, mission, and values and fall within your scope of practice.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant experience.
Preferred Certification(s): Any relevant IT Certification.
Experience: 7+ years of relevant and practical experience, preferably in IT management or a related role, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
