Senior Manager - Internal Communications

About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Internal Communications Manager / Senior Manager to lead and execute effective communication strategies that engage, inform, and inspire our employees across the Global Capability Center in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal communications, excellent storytelling skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive alignment with business goals and culture. Experience in event management, vendor management and colleague engagement will be an added benefit.

Key Responsibilities:

Support strategy execution and leadership engagement:

  • Support in designing and implementing comprehensive internal communication strategies that align with business objectives and foster employee connection.

  • Assist in executing high-impact flagship programs and events such as town halls and leadership forums, collaborating with senior leaders to translate strategy into clear, engaging content.

  • Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to develop campaigns that promote company culture, values, and employee well-being.

  • Contribute to the planning, delivery, and measurement of internal communication plans to support company strategy execution and boost employee engagement.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in internal communications and employee engagement.

Channel management:

  • Manage communications for recognition programs and cultural events that reinforce organizational values.

  • Assess and publish content across communication vehicles (Intranet, newsletters, email, internal social media, etc.) ensuring timely, accurate, and fresh content delivery.

  • Maintain communication calendars and oversee internal channels to guarantee organized and timely messaging.

  • Write, edit, and proofread a variety of employee communications, newsletters, and informational materials for internal distribution.

  • Coordinate production and distribution of communication materials.

Feedback Management

  • Monitor communication effectiveness using surveys, feedback, and analytics, applying insights to continuously refine strategies.

  • Analyze distribution metrics to measure communication impact, coordinate distribution and tracking.

  • Provide recommendations to improve internal communications by tracking employee understanding, retention, and summarizing satisfaction surveys.

  • Support initiatives that encourage two-way communication and foster a positive workplace environment.

Experience in event and vendor management is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field

  • 10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, employee engagement, branding, and event management, preferably within large multinational organizations.

  • Proven ability to craft compelling brand stories and deliver high-impact communication campaigns; excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills with experience working across diverse teams.

  • Ability to leverage new age technologies smartly to enhance processes and quality of deliverables

  • Proficiency in working on videos, social media platforms, and content management tools.

  • Certifications in Digital Marketing, Brand Storytelling or related areas are desirable.

  • Experience in driving diversity, inclusion, belonging and social impact initiatives is an advantage.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
