We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Internal Audit to join us at Telia.
I’m Milin Thakkar, Head of Group Internal Audit, Risk and Governance and I’m searching for a highly motivated, experienced and skilled professional to join our small yet dynamic team.
The role requires significant physical presence in our Solna office, and willingness to travel up to 20% to other Telia markets.

What you’ll do:
Plan, lead and execute assurance or advisory projects across operations, commercial, transformation, finance, and technology, the projects will cover key business risks, value drivers, internal control and regulatory matters using data analytics and best practices.
With the projects, you’ll drive improvements in business processes, risk management, governance, and internal controls, while also enhancing organizational efficiency, customer experience, operational quality, resiliency, profitability, and growth.
You’ll plan and execute projects with a hands-on approach, utilizing data analytics to support risk assessments and foster open communication with stakeholders. Identifying key business objectives and associated risks, you’ll evaluate processes and controls for effectiveness and efficiency, and recommend pragmatic improvements.
Leveraging data analytics, you’ll identify and assess the relevance and impact of improvement opportunities. You’ll prepare clear, executive-friendly reports with actionable insights and stay updated on industry trends, contributing to the continuous enhancement of the function.

What will help you thrive in this role:
The ideal candidate possesses strong critical thinking, stakeholder management, problem-solving, analytical and time management skills, along with robust business and commercial acumen.
With a focus on creating and protecting value beyond traditional assurance activities, they excel in communication and interpersonal interactions, presenting findings articulately to stakeholders in English. Swedish (or other Nordic languages) proficiency are highly desirable.
Professional experience:
Minimum of 10 years of advisory and assurance experience in a Nordic business context, preferably with exposure to TMT industry through roles in Big 4 firms or similar organizations
Strong data analytical skills are needed and hands-on experience with data mining are highly valued
A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is required, with certifications such as CPA, CA, or CIA considered advantageous.
