Job Description

THE ROLE:

Supports A+E Global Media’s Risk Management function by helping administer the corporate insurance program and ensuring timely, accurate execution of core insurance and risk processes. This role exists to maintain effective relationships with brokers and insurers, coordinate underwriting submissions and renewals, and track premiums, invoices, and claim activity to protect the company’s financial position and continuity of operations. The position also supports the ERM intake and ERC reporting cadence and provides day-to-day guidance to internal teams and external partners on insurance requirements, certificates of insurance, and risk transfer protocols. By enabling consistent compliance with insurance and risk standards, the role helps reduce exposure, prevent delays to business deliverables, and improve governance and reporting.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Support in managing AETN’s corporate insurance program and AETN’s relationships with brokers and insurers for all lines of coverage (e.g., Property, D&O Liability, Cyber Liability, etc.), collaborating with internal partners to prepare submission material in support of all underwriting activity, tracking payment of invoices, tracking premium spent, and updating internal documents at renewals.
  • Lead ERM program administration by coordinating intake process with departments throughout company, updating risk assessments and other internal records, and assist in presenting to the ERC.
  • First point of contact for most Factual Studio production risk and insurance questions.
  • Support the timely review, reporting, and tracking of all outstanding claim liabilities.
  • Assist the broader legal team with the review of contracts to promote inclusion of appropriate insurance requirements and risk transfer conditions.
  • Review and address certificate of insurance requests and inquiries from internal and external partners and approve E&O certificates for deliverables.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in insurance and production risk management (experience in production management and/or rights and clearances also considered, but insurance experience a must).
  • Working knowledge of insurance considerations related to television production and distribution.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and the interrelationships among departments, including the company’s interactions with producers and external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and meet deadlines under strict time constraints.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • BA/BS Degree in related degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Compensation

Annual Pay Range: $128,205 - $150,000

Annual Incentive Target: 15.00%


 

The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the

minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will

be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills,
