The Senior Manager, Indirect Sourcing – IDT Services will be responsible for leading the sourcing and vendor management strategy for Information Technology and Digital Technology services across the enterprise. This position will focus on delivering sourcing excellence, optimizing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance across a global portfolio of IT service providers, software vendors, and digital solutions partners. The role will ensure that sourcing strategies align with enterprise objectives, optimize total cost of ownership, and enable digital transformation within GE Appliances’ DT/Technology ecosystem.
This position will oversee strategy and execution for approximately $300+ million in IT and Digital Services spend, with direct accountability for vendor relationship management, sourcing execution, contract governance, and risk management across key IT domains.
Scope: IT & Digital Services, Software & Cloud Providers, Managed Services, Cybersecurity, Data Center, and Infrastructure Support Vendors.

How You'll Create Possibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for IT and Digital Technology service categories, including software, cloud, and managed services. Identify and deliver cost efficiencies, performance improvements, and innovation through the execution of comprehensive sourcing initiatives.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain processes for vendor evaluation, selection, and management in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. Lead vendor risk assessments, performance monitoring, and compliance management across the IT vendor portfolio.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and maintain master service agreements, software licensing arrangements, and other vendor contracts. Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Compliance to ensure contracts meet internal and external regulatory standards.
- Performance Management: Establish and oversee service-level frameworks and performance dashboards, incorporating key quality, delivery, and compliance metrics. Provide regular performance reporting and insights to IT leadership and business partners.
- Cost Optimization: Identify, develop, and execute cost optimization initiatives resulting from Vendor Management Office (VMO) activities. Analyze IT spend patterns and market trends to ensure competitive pricing and sustainable value delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, Legal, Finance, and Security teams to ensure sourcing activities meet business objectives and compliance requirements. Lead vendor business reviews and alignment sessions with IT leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure third-party vendor compliance with GE Appliances’ cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory standards. Identify and mitigate vendor and operational risks and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and vendor innovations to inform sourcing strategies and maintain a competitive advantage in digital procurement.

What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 7+ years of relevant work experience, including progressive experience in IT contracts, vendor management, or strategic sourcing.
- Demonstrated expertise in global IT vendor management and negotiation, with a proven track record of delivering measurable business value.
- Comprehensive understanding of enterprise IT lifecycles and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Strong working knowledge of data privacy laws, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence outcomes.
- Demonstrated business acumen, organizational ability, and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience managing complex sourcing initiatives and multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Experience with SOX, PCI, and other regulatory compliance programs.
- In-depth knowledge of IT risk identification, mitigation, and management practices.
- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Experience leading IT transformation and digital sourcing strategies in large enterprises.
- Familiarity with financial risk assessment tools such as Rapid Ratings or equivalent platforms.
