The High Net Worth (HNW) Case Manager serves as the dedicated underwriting concierge for High Net Worth (HNW) cases, providing guidance and support to agents from pre-submission advisory to policy approval.

This role partners closely with agents to shape quality submissions upfront — anticipating medical and financial underwriting requirements, strengthening documentation readiness, and mitigating potential delays. Acting as the single point of contact for all underwriting-related matters, the Case Manager coordinates proactively with Underwriting to expedite complex assessments while safeguarding risk and compliance standards.

Beyond case progression, the role elevates advisor confidence and client experience by delivering clarity, responsiveness, and disciplined execution across every HNW case.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner advisors early on complex High Net Worth (HNW) cases to shape strong submissions, anticipate medical and financial underwriting requirements, and ensure full documentation readiness before formal lodgment.

• Act as quality gatekeeper for all HNW cases, enforcing high submission standards to minimize avoidable underwriting queries, rework, and delays.

• Serve as the dedicated liaison for all medical and financial underwriting issues, coordinating closely with underwriters to clarify requirements and expedite decision-making.

• Track case milestones, manage follow-ups, and resolve bottlenecks in complex or escalated cases to ensure timely progression toward approval.

• Build trusted relationships with key HNW producers, providing clear guidance on underwriting expectations and strengthening advisors’ capability in handling large-ticket cases.

• Ensure all submissions comply with underwriting guidelines and regulatory standards, escalating high-risk or sensitive cases appropriately.

• Monitor case quality and turnaround metrics, identify recurring gaps, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance the HNW case journey.

Job Requirements:

• Strong underwriting background with solid knowledge of medical and financial risk assessment in life insurance.

• Good understanding of life insurance operations, including end-to-end case submission, underwriting workflow, and policy issuance processes.

• Experience handling complex or large-sum assured cases; prior exposure to High Net Worth (HNW) case management is a strong advantage.

• Ability to interpret underwriting guidelines and provide practical advisory support to advisors.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage both senior advisors and underwriters.

• Detail-oriented with high standards for documentation quality and compliance.
