As Senior Manager Governance & Reporting, you will lead Technology & Operations Risk reporting, governance and culture improvement, keeping our environment safe, simple and outcome oriented. You’ll be the bridge between the CRO, Technology and COO Risk Leadership as well as reporting stakeholders across the Group. You’ll enable the delivery of clear and timely management and board reporting, support delivery of the Technology & Operations Risk strategy, and drive meaningful improvements in risk culture, governance and ways of working.

This is a highly visible role at the intersection of risk, technology and operations. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders across Technology, COO, HR, Finance and Group Risk Culture to deliver high-quality governance outcomes and uplift  culture and organisational capability.

Do work that matters:

  • Coordinate management and board reporting - own preparation, quality assurance and timely delivery of Tech & Ops Risk inputs so management and board materials are clear and transparent.

  • Consolidate data for clarity - synthesise inputs from Tech & Ops Risk leaders, to produce a single, coherent view for management and Board.

  • Enable the Technology & Operations Risk strategy - translate the Tech & Ops Risk strategy into measurable plans and implement practices to track progress to delivering on our strategic goals.

  • Drive process improvement - identify and implement efficiency opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate solutions that increase quality and reduce effort.

  • Enable Line-2 oversight for risk culture - work with Technology and the COO to enable and operationalise Line-2 oversight for risk culture improvement plans, ensuring clear accountabilities and trackable progress.

  • Lead culture improvement initiatives - design and lead culture-change programs that lift engagement and risk behaviours.

  • Apply strong judgement and prioritisation – balance competing priorities to make timely, well-considered decisions when multiple stakeholders, deadlines and risks compete for attention. Escalate appropriately and keep senior leaders informed.

Key responsibilities for this role includes:

  • You are an experienced reporting and governance professional with a strong track record of delivering high-quality content and culture change in complex, regulated environments.

  • Proven experience delivering executive and Board-level reporting to consolidate inputs across multiple stakeholder groups and translate complex information into concise, decision-ready narratives and outputs.

  • Sound understanding of operational risk and compliance management frameworks

  • Skilled at stakeholder engagement and influence, comfortable working with GM+ audience

  • Experience leading culture and capability initiatives, with a focus on measurable outcomes

  • A continuous improvement mindset, experience simplifying, standardising and automating governance and reporting tasks is ideal, but any process improvement experience would be beneficial.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and highly numerate with capability to deliver data-driven insight.

  • Sound judgement and prioritisation skills - you’re highly organised, calm under pressure and able to weigh trade-offs and make priority decisions quickly. You can prioritise work across multiple concurrent deliverables, maintain attention to detail, and ensure critical issues are escalated and resolved with clear decisions and ownership.
