Overview:

As a Senior Manager on Precisely’s FP&A team, your focus will be on taking ownership of forecasting, planning, and performance management processes for Bookings, Revenue, and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). You will ensure that operational plans are aligned with Precisely’s financial goals and create transparency that allows us to make informed decisions. This highly visible leadership role will serve as a trusted finance partner to Sales, Revenue Operations, Revenue Accounting, and Executive Leadership. Additionally, this role will provide deep, hands-on operating experience and allow you to take part in an exciting opportunity to drive growth at a PE-backed software firm

What you will do:

  • Own end-to-end forecasting for Bookings (new and renewal), Revenue, Billings, and ARR (including churn, pricing impacts, and retention)
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual topline forecasting with high degree of accuracy and insight into risks and opportunities
  • Build and maintain deep, product-level and license-level understanding of topline performance, analyzing actuals versus forecast
  • Manage ARR bridge, providing insight into key monthly and quarterly trends at a customer-level, in addition to KPIs (gross retention, net retention, pricing impacts)
  • Maintain strong understanding of financial systems, data flows, and assumptions underpinning topline and ARR forecasts
  • Serve as the primary finance partner to Sales and Revenue Operations on bookings and ARR performance
  • Partner with Product and Pricing teams to assess financial impact of pricing, packaging, and monetization changes
  • Work with Revenue Accounting team to scope impact of key policies related to Bookings and Revenue
  • Deliver concise, executive-ready insights and materials for leadership, Board reporting and planning discussions
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A revenue team while driving automation and best practices
  • Support ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives

What we are looking for:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A or related finance roles, with significant focus on topline areas (Bookings, Revenue, ARR)
  • Strong experience managing and developing a team
  • Prior experience supporting SaaS or recurring-revenue business models
  • Deep understanding of Bookings, Revenue, and ARR  
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and operate as a trusted business partner
  • Ability to develop complex financial models
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated drive for continuous process improvement
  • Ability to balance multiple responsibilities with competing deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formula

This position is 100% remote anywhere in the US
