We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Executive and Internal Communications who will serve as a trusted advisor to our executive leadership team and PeopleOps, building strong, confidential partnerships to shape authentic narratives that resonate across internal and external audiences.

About the Role:

You will co-create and ghostwrite clear, compelling messages that translate strategy into human stories, inform and inspire Wrikers, and elevate our leaders’ voices across channels. Blending strategic counsel with hands-on execution, you’ll lead integrated executive and internal communications that reinforce our mission, advance business priorities, and strengthen culture with clarity, consistency, and impact.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Marketing, this role will partner closely with the Executive Leadership Team and People/HR team to plan and deliver integrated communications across channels.

Your Impact:

  • Executive communications strategy and execution
  • Build trusted relationships with specific ELT members to co-create executive narratives and message platforms that reflect each leader’s voice and personal brand while aligning to Wrike’s master brand and business strategy.
  • Build executive visibility plans, including speaking calendars, external/internal engagements, and social amplification in partnership with PR and social.
  • Develop and ghostwrite executive communications across internal and external channels, including speeches/keynotes; all-hands remarks; video/webinar scripts; bylines/op-eds/thought leadership blog posts; press/analyst quotes; and social posts, ensuring clarity, consistency, and brand/voice alignment. Leverage AI writing tools to accelerate first-draft creation while maintaining authentic executive voice and brand standards.
  • Create FAQs, slides, notes, etc. to help Wrike’s leaders cascade messages effectively internally and externally.
  • Partner with the Senior PR Manager and our PR agency to translate ELT narratives into external thought leadership assets, shaping angles, commentary, bylines/op-eds, and briefing docs to secure placements in tier-1 and industry media.
  • Experiment with AI-powered content personalization tools to tailor executive messages for different audience segments and channels.
  • Internal communications strategy and execution
  • Own the internal communications strategy, editorial calendar, and channel mix (email, Slack, Guru, Wrike) to drive engagement and alignment.
  • Plan and produce company-wide All Hands, AMAs, GKOs, leader forums, and quarterly updates end-to-end (run of show, narrative, decks, rehearsals, follow-ups).
  • Drive organizational communications (reorgs, policy changes, process updates, M&A integration) with a focus on context, empathy, and actionability.
  • Partner with People/HR, DEI, and Culture teams to amplify programs that strengthen belonging, performance, and employee experience.
  • Ensure global inclusivity and time-zone friendliness where needed for our distributed workforce.
  • Measurement and operations
  • Establish measurement frameworks and dashboards (e.g., engagement, sentiment, reach, eNPS correlation) and optimize programs against OKRs.
  • Maintain voice and style guidelines for internal and executive communications; coach leaders and managers on communication best practices.
  • Coordinate sequencing and alignment between internal and external communications with PR/AR/social to ensure employees hear it first and best.
  • Identify new tactics and channels to expand reach and impact; pilot creative formats (video, podcasts) to uplevel storytelling.
  • Stay current on AI communication trends and tools, serving as an internal evangelist for responsible AI adoption in communications workflows.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  • 10–12 years of communications experience with at least 5 years focused on executive communications and internal/employee communications; technology and SaaS/cloud experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record advising senior executives and ghostwriting high-impact content across live remarks, long-form narratives, and social platforms.
  • Expert storyteller with impeccable writing, editing, and proofreading skills; able to tailor voice and tone for different leaders and audiences.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, etc.) with ability to craft effective prompts and refine AI-generated content to meet brand standards.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and producing All Hands/town halls and building manager enablement toolkits for effective cascade.
  • Strong business acumen; able to quickly grasp our business model and GTM motions, interpret key metrics (ARR, churn, pipeline), and translate strategy and financials into clear, audience-specific narratives and smart communication priorities.
  • Strong change management and internal issues communications experience; sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality are a must.
  • Data-driven and analytical; able to define goals, build dashboards, interpret engagement metrics, and use insights to continuously improve. Experience with AI-powered analytics and insights platforms to optimize content performance and audience engagement.
  • Deep understanding of internal channels, tools, and best practices for hybrid/distributed teams; hands-on experience with Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and intranet/email platforms.
  • Collaborative operator who can lead complex, cross-functional programs and projects.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure; able to context-switch and prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
  • Curious, proactive, and creative with a growth mindset; alwa

  • Global mindset and cultural fluency; experience communicating to international audiences a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the external landscape (speaking, awards, media/social) to support executive visibility in close partnership with PR and social.
  • Basic design chops in presentation tools to polish executive narratives and visuals.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume of projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong understanding of AI ethics and best practices, with ability to maintain human oversight and ensure authentic, responsible use of AI in communications.

Standout Qualities:

  • Experience in collaborative work management or productivity/collaboration software categories.
  • Video production or on-camera coaching experience for executives.

The range below reflects the base salary for this full-time position and applies to all U.S. locations, excluding benefits, discretionary bonuses, and other incentives. The final offer within this range will consider factors such as the role, seniority level, geographic location, and employment contract type.
