You will step into a pivotal role as the Senior Manager, Diagnostics Communications, BP, acting as a trusted partner and strategic communications expert for the CEO of Roche Diagnostics. Based in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, you will report to the Global Head of Diagnostics Communications and work closely with the Diagnostics Division Chief of Staff Office to align priorities and deliver excellence in executive communications.
In this role, you will have the chance to influence the strategic direction of our communications and support the executive leadership team through the following responsibilities:
Executive Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor and communications business partner to the Diagnostics CEO, providing rapid response to urgent requests and time-sensitive issues.
Strategic Messaging: Develop high-impact communication documents for quarterly and annual earnings, employee town hall presentations, and the organization’s overarching strategic direction in partnership with the Sr. Executive Communicator to DIA CEO.
Transformation Leadership: Lead change communications to help position the Diagnostics CEO during times of organizational change, ensuring engagement with priority stakeholders.
Bilingual Engagement: Act as a key link for German-speaking employees within the Diagnostics Division, ensuring the CEO’s messages are culturally and linguistically resonant.
Strategic Alignment: Support Group Communications (GC) priorities and align them with the specific strategic direction of the Diagnostics Division.
Internal Counsel: Deliver expert internal communications counsel on topics ranging from Swiss and German local matters to geopolitical situations and strategic partnerships.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with the Switzerland-based People and Culture (P&C) team on local works council topics and work with Group Communications colleagues on global change initiatives.
We are looking for a sophisticated communications professional who thrives under pressure and possesses the following qualifications:
Strategic Communicator: You are a strategic communications expert with a demonstrated ability to assess and resolve high-priority issues under tight deadlines.
Bilingual Professional: You are proficient in both German and English, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with German-speaking stakeholders.
Experienced Partner: You have a proven track record of serving as a business partner to senior executives, ideally within a complex, global organizational structure.
Prior work experience within Diagnostics or Medical Device companies is a signficant advantage.
Site presence in Rotkreuz, Zug, Switzerland on a regular basis is required
Change Expert: You possess strong experience in transformation communications and have the ability to deliver timely solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative Leader: You are a key collaborator who can navigate the needs of the Diagnostics Chief of Staff Office, Group Communications Leadership, and local P&C teams effectively.
