[What the role is]
The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA) is the training arm of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. It drives capability development of aviation professionals for the Singapore air hub and capacity building for the international aviation community. To ensure SAA’s continued relevance and to further establish it as a centre of excellence for aviation knowledge, the SAA is undergoing a transformation of curriculum, andragogy and learning spaces.[What you will be working on]
You will manage SAA’s training courses and programmes targeted at international government and industry participants.
The role involves engaging with participants, both local and international, to ensure a positive experience from end-to-end i.e. pre, during and post course. It will also include handling all administrative and financial arrangements, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of the programmes and identifying areas of improvements.
[What we are looking for]
Trained in Business or equivalent areas
Working experience in planning and organising international and local training programmes; familiar with digital platforms
Customer-oriented mindset
Keen attention to detail and ability to manage international and local participants
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with stakeholders
Able to work under pressure
Familiarity with government procurement processes would be an advantage
Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure during the contract period.
