Ibotta

Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing

Denver, CO Full time

We're looking for a Senior Manager of Consumer Marketing to own one of the most exciting frontiers at Ibotta: expanding how our Savers earn. This role sits at the intersection of product marketing, lifecycle strategy, and consumer engagement while also starting with a big bet we're making: In-app gaming.

You'll lead the go-to-market strategy for embedding third-party games directly into the Ibotta app, creating new, sticky earning experiences that keep Savers coming back. But the scope goes beyond games. You'll build the playbook for how Ibotta introduces and scales any new earning mechanic, ensuring our Savers discover, adopt, and keep coming back for more.If you're a consumer-obsessed marketer who gets excited about product adoption, behavioral engagement, and building lifecycle flows from scratch, this is your role.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

Not based in Denver? We will offer a relocation bonus to help make your move to the Mile High City a smooth one.

What you will be doing:

Gaming Launch & Growth

  • Own the consumer marketing strategy for Ibotta's in-app gaming experience from pre-launch awareness through long-term engagement and retention

  • Develop the positioning, messaging, and channel strategy that introduces gaming to Ibotta's Saver base in a way that feels native, exciting, and rewarding

  • Partner closely with Product and the third-party gaming partner to align on feature rollouts, user experience, and marketing integration points

  • Define success metrics for gaming adoption and engagement, and build the reporting infrastructure to track and optimize against them

Lifecycle & Retention

  • Build new lifecycle flows purpose-built for gaming which include onboarding sequences, re-engagement nudges, milestone rewards, and win-back programs

  • Identify and act on key drop-off points in the gaming experience, using data to design interventions that bring Savers back

  • Partner with the Lifecycle team to integrate gaming touchpoints into broader Saver journeys, ensuring gaming feels like a natural extension of the Ibotta experience, not a bolt-on

Cross-Product Adoption & Engagement

  • Develop a repeatable marketing framework for launching new earning experiences built for gaming today, extensible to whatever comes next

  • Create crossover strategies that connect gaming engagement to core Ibotta behaviors (offer redemption, app opens, referrals) to drive holistic Saver value

  • Champion new product adoption across the Saver base by partnering with user acquisition, integrated,  lifecycle, and creative teams on coordinated, multi-channel campaigns

  • Embrace and uphold Ibotta’s Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency & A good idea can come from anywhere

What we are looking for:

  • 6–9 years of consumer marketing experience with a strong track record in product adoption, app engagement, or lifecycle marketing

  • Experience launching or growing a new product feature within an existing app

  • Experience speaking the language of roadmaps, experimentation, and sprint cycles

  • Proven lifecycle marketing instincts

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to define KPIs, interpret results, and pivot quickly

  • Excellent communicator who can rally cross-functional teams around a shared vision

  • Experience marketing gaming, gamification, or loyalty/rewards mechanics to consumers

  • Familiarity with Braze or similar customer engagement platforms

  • Background in D2C, consumer apps, or subscription products

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
