Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Channel Marketing, reports to the Director, Channel Marketing.  As part of the Digital Appliance Marketing Team, you will develop the marketing strategy and go-to-market plans for the Home Depot business.  This includes digital marketing, traditional (print), in-store and overall integration of the brand at retail. This position will work with cross functional teams within Samsung (Sales, Brand Experience, Product Marketing and Consumer Insights) and align with retailers to improve ROI and sell thru of Samsung appliances. This position requires the individual be very skilled at relationship building and have strong communication skills. This candidate must have a strong understanding of digital capabilities and overall 360 degree approach to marketing.

Job Description

  • Serve as digital leader for Samsung’s Digital Appliance Business with The Home Depot
  • Support Digital Joint Business Plans, Workshops, and Quarterly Business Reviews as required by customer & leadership
  • Strategic development and execution of co-marketing campaigns to align with Samsung business priorities (paid media, email, social, print, etc.)
  • Evaluate performance results, define KPI’s and optimize when needed to maximize ROI
  • Day to Day partnership with Samsung Sales and Retailer Marketing teams to meet sales goals
  • Develop creative briefs for all major campaigns and product launches to ensure successful execution and brand representation
  • Define digital strategy for retailer.com (content, creative and media) to improve online sell thru
  • Manage digital assets needed to execute best in class PDP’s (product description page)
  • Support execution of retail in-store displays and POP (product and promotion)
  • Implement promotions online/in-store
  • Track marketing budget reconciliation and invoicing
  • Own and lead digital business performance report outs to customer & Samsung internal. (KPIs include Units, Sales, Conversion, Traffic, Click through Rate, and more)
  • Accountable for digital product assortment, digital campaign effectiveness, aligning digital investments to achieve .com financial goals and executing all digital business activities
  • Responsible for ensuring digital assets and item set up is complete and Samsung is not disadvantaged at The Home Depot vs. other retailer online execution.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Has a wide range of experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
  • Works on complex issues where analyzing situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinates other's tasks
  • .com and 360 Marketing experience required (digital experience is a must)
  • Experience with performance marketing is desirable
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to customer and internal leadership
  • Demonstrated digital or .com expertise in sales, product marketing, & strategy – including industry tools and KPIs (conversion, click-thru, attach, AOV, etc.)
  • Proven ability to own and develop a customer relationship and account management process, preferably with The Home Depot account
  • Advanced skill level using Microsoft Standard Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of best-in-class strategies to deliver exceptional digital platform experience
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation, communication skills, planning and organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and allocate time based upon project importance
  • Must be creative thinker and strong team player

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Home Depot experience is a plus
  • Retail media experience is a plus

The salary range in for this role is expected to be between $132,500 and $164,000 in Atlanta, Georgia and $159,500-$196,500 in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
