NVIDIA

Senior Manager, Capacity Planning

Israel, Yokneam Full time

NVIDIA is seeking a dynamic leader to own our global capacity planning. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end capacity planning process across foundries and contract manufacturers sites. This position uniquely stands out by blending traditional supply chain management with advanced AI, asking you to champion the use of Generative AI, advanced optimization, and digital twins to improve resilience and capital efficiency. Join us to build and scale simulation-driven decision-making and lead a high-performing capacity planning team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and maintain advanced capacity models and algorithms to identify gaps, risks, and investment needs across multiple product lines and regions.

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of approximately six industrial engineers and capacity planners, setting Key Objectives that align with Planning, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Engineering goals.

  • Partner with data science and engineering teams to integrate AI/ML techniques into capacity models and to automate scenario generation.

  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Test Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and IT to ensure capacity plans are actionable and aligned to business priorities.

  • Define and implement standard methodologies, workflows, and metrics—such as utilization targets and forecast accuracy—while partnering with IT to integrate planning models with enterprise systems like ERP, MES, and Anaplan.

What we need to see:

  • 8+ overall years of capacity planning or related experience, and 4+ years of team management

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (Masters preferred) or equivalent experience

  • Expertise in driving scenario planning and “what-if” analyses to evaluate trade-offs under demand, supply, and technology uncertainty.

  • Ability to translate complex models into clear narratives and decisions for cross-functional and executive alignment.

  • Experience working with functional engineering groups and contract manufacturer management to generate up-to-date capacity planning data.

  • Capability to publish a long-range forecast aligned with the sourcing strategy, ensuring compliance, timeliness, and completeness.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and prioritize roadmap investments in simulation tools, optimization engines, and reporting/visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Proven experience acting as an internal subject matter expert on capacity modeling, simulation, and AI-driven methods.

  • A track record of representing the capacity management function in internal forums, external conferences, or industry working groups.

  • Experience creating a culture of rigorous analysis, intellectual curiosity, and continuous improvement within a team.
