Senior Manager, Business Management

Job Description

The Senior Manager, Business Management leads and provides oversight for key activities that enable the effective and efficient operation of the Architecture and Strategy, Employee Digital Automation team.  

What will you do?

Financial governance, planning, analytics, and reporting:

  • Creation and management of the Group Operating Plan, including, Annual budget and forecasts; 2-year plan or rolling forecast; tracking actuals vs plan; spend vs budget; progress against plan; financial forecasting to transit Managers; FTE, contractors and professional fees budget; track group savings/cost containment/cost avoidance etc.
  • Perform necessary reporting to satisfy all Business and Finance requirements.
  • Work with the respective Business Unit leads to identify cost saving opportunities and optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Finance Teams to improve data integrity of the financial records.
  • Provide financial management support for projects and key initiatives.
  • Identify / Report on key financial metrics to present overall ASEDA’s financial story including efficiency metrics, cost and workforce composition.

Business Management:

  • Oversee Engagement and communication activities
  • Oversight to various activities that increase overall employee engagement including various communication channels, support multiple initiatives such as town halls and AMAs

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial management.
  • Budgeting, Executive Level Reporting, Financial Analysis, Financial Forecasting, Business Management, Supplier Management
  • Excellent communication skills and experience preparing presentations.
  • Organizational and planning skills.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree Business Administration or Commerce.

Nice to have:

  • Previous RBC experience
  • Broad systems management experience (Ideally Microsoft suite of products).
