The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Non- Product supply chain international team:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join us as the Senior Manager or Associate Director of Non- Product Commodity Management for Logistics category supporting APAC region.

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the overall APAC logistics strategy for RTX as part of RTX Corporate Global/International (APAC & EMEA) logistics team. You will support and drive strategic sourcing initiatives across key logistics domains within APAC region, including air, road, ocean freight, third-party logistics (3PL), network design, warehousing, and data analytics.

You will lead the design and optimization of end-to-end logistics strategies by leveraging integrated data-driven insights, innovative technologies, and regional (APAC) market intelligence, enhancing service levels, achieving cost efficiencies and driving operational excellence.

This role also leads cross-functional, multiple business unit team efforts (Pratt & Whitney, Collins Aerospace & Raytheon) within APAC region, lead APAC logistics council to drive oneRTX logistics vision. RTX APAC has primary footprint in Singapore, India, China, Philippines, New Zealand, Australia and Malaysia.

This role requires a visionary thinker and change catalyst with strong leadership capabilities, deep logistics expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organization.

What You Will Do

Category responsibilities

  • Lead APAC logistics category, including spend visibility and analytics, integrating multiple business units’ requirements, while developing and executing annual sourcing strategies within APAC or country levels.
  • Drive strategic supplier management, including strategic negotiations, performance management, and capability development across logistics partners.
  • Develop and execute implementation roadmaps aligned with enterprise / global objectives, tailored to APAC business units needs and requirements across sub-categories including heavy air freight, parcel, ocean, customs brokerage, warehousing, network optimization, freight bill audit payment, lead logistics solution, transport management system, automation, innovation and data analytics within logistic activities.
  • Establish measurable goal and improvement target across all RTX APAC sites, delivering defined projects, service improvements, and sustainable cost savings.
  • Lead regional (APAC) RFPs/RFQs and support end-to-end contract management process including supplier onboarding and contract roll out across multiple countries in APAC.
  • Drive logistics initiatives leveraging Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) methodologies, ensuring consistency.
  • Develop strategic and effective relationships with logistics providers enabling capacity, service and cost optimization.

Regional Assessments & Solution Development

  • Evaluate emerging logistics technologies and assess regional capabilities to identify opportunities for adopting innovative solutions across RTX logistics operation in APAC region.
  • Benchmark and conduct in-depth regional assessments (both internally and externally) to understand logistical challenges, regulatory environments, and market opportunities.
  • Develop tailored logistics solutions and financial models that align with strategic objectives and business unit requirements.
  • Enable regional input and execution of global logistics strategies and provider relationships.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Influence and drive change across multiple businesses, functions and geographies
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of logistics and sourcing professionals across diverse business units.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a key liaison between logistics, supply chain, finance, and executive leadership.
  • Support any assigned country non-product councils within APAC
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

This role report to the Director, RTX Corporate International Non-Product Supply Chain (APAC& EMEA) as part of APAC team and dotted-line report to Global Category leader for Logistics.
