Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Mentorship
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of solution architects, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Understand, contribute to, and reinforce the company's architectural vision with the team, ensuring their work aligns with strategic goals. Drive consistency in architectural processes, standards, and documentation across the team. Guide your team to the appropriate level of technical detail, ensuring thoroughness and clarity in all architectural artifacts. Coach team members on to reinforce end-to-end systems thinking.
Technical Strategy & Governance
Define and drive the architectural vision and strategy for our core enterprise systems, particularly CRM, MDM and back-office integrations. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the enterprise technology landscape, identifying opportunities for simplification and modernization. Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices to ensure quality and maintainability.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner closely with Product Managers to align architectural initiatives with product roadmaps and business requirements. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate with project managers and development teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Additional Specialized Knowledge & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a solution architecture role, with a proven track record of designing complex enterprise systems.
3+ years of experience leading and managing a team of technical professionals.
Extensive experience with the integration of back-office systems
Demonstrated ability for end-to-end systems thinking and experience coaching others in this areas
Experience in Salesforce, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the Salesforce platform.
Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) systems and principles.
Experience with API management and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee).
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
General Role Accountabilities
• Accountable for managing enterprise solution level architecture across technologies and platforms supporting a particular channel, line of business or enterprise function.
• Manage the design, architecture, development, integration, and testing of architecture frameworks.
• Develop architecture strategies (statements of position/direction, principles, reference architectures, etc.) that align to the company's business strategy and influence enterprise technology directions.
• Manage the research, engineering, and integration of new solutions. Apply service-oriented architecture principles to meet the organization’s integrity and availability requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain the enterprise architecture frameworks, systems and solutions.
• Develop policies, standards, and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation, and use of technology within the organization. Establish process, procedures, solutions and artifacts based on architecture controls criteria required to demonstrate adherence to compliance.
• Create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and fostering trust, transparency, and inclusion. Work with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support on-going development.
• Lead with influence and expertise. Actively contributes to division or department leadership team. Communicate and support organization mission, vision, values, policies, and practices.
