Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to lead logistics initiatives and performs advanced analysis to optimize distribution networks, inventory strategies, and cost controls. Conducts network and distribution studies, evaluates inventory performance, and translates business requirements into actionable operational strategies. Partners cross-functionally to implement improvements and drive measurable results.

This is a Hybrid position.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leads complex distribution and network studies to support agency mission, readiness, and performance goals.

• Develops strategies to improve inventory performance, service levels, and delivery outcomes while optimizing cost.

• Oversees logistics performance tracking, dashboards, and reporting against contractual metrics and mission objectives.

• Recommends and implements quality and cost control initiatives and supports risk mitigation and continuity planning.

• Manages project components coordinates stakeholders (including COR/Program Office), and may serve as Task Lead.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision Received - Manager
- Supervision Given - Lower level team members (technical guidance only)
- Internal Contacts - All project team members
- External Contacts - Vendors, suppliers

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree. Equivalent education/experience may be allowed as defined by contract.

• 5+ years of related professional experience, preferably in logistics or supply chain, supporting complex programs (federal experience preferred).

• Advanced knowledge of logistics strategy, inventory planning, and distribution network analysis

• Advanced proficiency in data modeling, forecasting, and performance optimization

• Advanced knowledge of cost control methodologies and operational efficiency improvement

• Demonstrated ability to manage program implementation and cross-functional coordination

• Advanced problem-solving skills for complex operational challenges

• Working knowledge of mentoring and guiding junior analysts

• Basic awareness of import/export requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Salary Range: $74,800.00 - $130,900.00
