What Learning Development and Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Learning develops, deploys and evaluates learning solutions to support employee development and build organizational capability in alignment to business strategies. This function analyzes learning needs and develops training curricula, technologies, and programs. This function also manages trainings provided by third-parties and partners with leaders and subject matter experts within functions and business units to deliver learning.

Learning Development and Delivery provides instructor-led trainings and manages training processes to maximize the value that employees gain from learning solutions. This job family delivers training materials including presentations, guides and manuals, and course evaluations and coordinate training schedules based on training needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate training for new processes, manage upcoming training schedules, and ensure 100% compliance with all training requirements.

  • Proactively review, modify, and update training curriculum and materials to ensure relevance, accuracy, and alignment with operational changes and best practices.

  • Lead changes to training documents, standard operating procedures, and classroom setups, ensuring alignment with current Standard Operating System (SOS) documents.

  • Manage specific training programs, such as the Kappa testing program, ensuring their effective operation.

  • Collaborate with the Site Leader to develop and implement site staff training plans, including scheduling, cross-training, and upskilling initiatives.

  • Manage the logging of training completions in the Learning Management System (mySpark) and report monthly training metrics to the Site Leader.

  • Assist the Site Leader in standardizing performance management processes, including goal setting, KPI targets, and developing tools for people managers.

  • Partner with the Learning Center of Excellence (COE), assist with various business needs and complex projects, contribute to policy development, and coordinate employee engagement activities.

  • Maintain flexibility to work later shifts as needed to accommodate training schedules and business demands.

Qualifications

  • 4-6+ years of experience, preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create presentations, training materials, and process flows

  • Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity Identified possible solutions to a variety technical problems and takes action to resolve

  • Applies judgment within defined parameters

  • Receives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects

  • Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy

Anticipated salary range: $57,000 - $81,600
