The Senior Lead Information Security Analyst within Identity and Access Management (IAM) Governance serves as a subject matter expert and execution lead for IAM consequence enforcement across Wells Fargo. This role is accountable for ensuring that IAM control non-adherence is identified, assessed, escalated, and resolved in a consistent, risk‑based manner.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the end‑to‑end owner of IAM adherence monitoring and enforcement (Consequence), establishing clear, repeatable processes for identifying non‑adherence, determining outcomes, and ensuring timely resolution or approved risk treatment.
- Own and operate IAM Consequence governance routines including escalation runways, decision criteria, and senior leadership engagement to enable predictable, risk‑based enforcement outcomes.
- Provide strategic oversight of IAM adherence and enforcement by transforming monitoring signals into structured, decision‑ready insights that inform governance posture, risk transparency, and executive action.
- Lead the design, maturity, and expansion of the IAM Consequence Model, proactively evolving processes, and coverage to support additional controls, platforms, and SLA‑driven requirements while maintaining alignment to policy and control expectations.
- Direct cross‑functional enablement of automated adherence monitoring and enforcement, intentionally replacing manual, ad‑hoc tracking with durable, system‑driven processes that improve reliability, auditability, and operational efficiency.
- Act as a senior IAM governance advisor by simplifying and implementing operationalized decision workflows that ensure timely, consistent, and defensible risk treatment outcomes.
- Continuously assess and refine IAM adherence and enforcement processes to reduce variability, eliminate control friction, and strengthen regulatory defensibility through documented standards, runbooks, and governance artifacts.
- Influence and align stakeholders across IAM, Cybersecurity, Technology, and Lines of Business to adopt mature governance processes, reinforcing shared accountability through clear expectations, standardized execution, and transparent outcomes.
- Provide oversight to the Information Security program for a major line of business
- Consult with line of business on the consistent implementation of the enterprise information security model and solutions to remediate information security risks
- Ensure that risks to all information assets are being managed in a timely and effective manner to meet the Information Security Program requirements and the current threat landscape
- Ensure information security capabilities are included in all aspects of the company's technology architecture
- Proactively manage the information security risk profile of line of business information assets throughout the lifecycle of the asset
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale, cross-functional, or companywide strategies
- Ensure the team has the necessary training and is keeping abreast of regulatory and compliance issues
- Engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as an experienced advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years of experience in information security, IAM, risk management, or technology governance
- Demonstrated expertise in IAM policy adherence, control monitoring, and enforcement models
- Strong understanding of controls, SLAs, exception handling, and risk treatment concepts
- Experience engaging with senior leaders and presenting complex risk information clearly
- Proven ability to operate independently in a lead / owner capacity for critical governance functions
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with consequence models, escalation frameworks, or enforcement programs
- Experience implementing or governing automated solutions
- Background supporting audit, regulatory, or enterprise risk management engagements
- Strong documentation, process design, and operating model skills
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$159,000.00 - $305,000.00
