Senior Lead - Performance Vertical Marketing (6 month Maternity Cover starting Jan 2026)

To serve this ambition, we are looking for a dynamic thought leader to step into this crucial role for six months from January to June of 2026 and drive our regional running strategy and campaigns. The role is part strategy and part campaign leadership - applying regional strategy to global creative and then consulting with local markets to maximize impact everywhere. 

Your Team:

This role will be based in Zurich, Berlin or London and you will sit at the intersection of several incredible teams packed with talented people based primarily in those three locations. As the marketing lead for our performance verticals in EMEA, this role requires thought leadership, outstanding diplomacy and inspiring vision for the potential of running in EMEA. It is central to our ambitions as a brand, with some of our biggest campaigns and moments taking place during this period. The work will be hybrid and flexible, with possible travel to other key cities in the region.

Your Mission:

  • Understand and represent the different run communities we serve in the EMEA region
  • Lead our EMEA marketing strategy for running, owning the vertical roadmap
  • Set the vision, then inspire multiple teams to understand and buy into it
  • Bring together global/regional/local partners to execute EMEA running campaigns
  • Act as a connector between teams from global concept to local execution

Your Story:

  • You bring 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing, brand or project roles within performance or lifestyle brands or partner agencies.
  • You are experienced in leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful campaigns.
  • You bring a deep understanding of EMEA run communities - from grassroots crews to elite athletes. You’re passionate about running and the communities that are driving its evolution.
  • You are skilled in brand, campaign and channel strategy across digital, retail and experiential.
  • You have strong project and stakeholder management skills.
  • You are a visionary connector who has built strategies and rallied teams to execute them.
  • You have a proven track record of translating global strategy into regional relevance.
  • You combine tenacity with creativity to solve complex problems and turn ideas into impact.
  • You are used to working in dynamic, fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments.
  • You are a confident decision-maker who balances creative vision with commercial impact.
  • You are fluent or C1+ level in English - German language (and experience) is a plus!
