Role and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work alongside of a team of extensive business process and aerospace experienced resources. The candidate will use industry standards and best practices to help our customers solve complex business issues with world class solutions.

  • Build relationships the business, assist in helping to identify and resolve technical challenges preventing our customers from consistently delivering product on-time or ahead of schedule.
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Assist in the management and delivering of large / mid / small size projects
  • Train, coach, and assist with internal and external resources
  • Maintain technical knowledge both national and internationally as it pertains to the aerospace  industry standards
  • Requires flexibility to work in U.S. shift hours based on business needs

Expertise-

The candidate must have hands-on SAP implementation experience in multiple projects with strong knowledge in design, architecting solutions in SAP Production Planning & Execution:

  • Production Planning (MRP), Production execution
  • Managing master data – Material masters, BOM, Routing, Work centers, Production Versions etc.
  • Material replenishment for Production Area, Backflush, Kanban process, Engineering Change Management.
  • Experience in designing solutions for discrete manufacturing & repetitive manufacturing environments are critical.
  • Strong understanding of batch processing and the downstream impact of delayed MRP / Pegging and all other highly dependent scheduled job.
  • Configuration expertise within the Production planning module of SAP (SPRO)
  • Experience/Knowledge in SAP QM module is a plus
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, writing SAP requirements, process modeling, and data mapping.
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA is highly desirable

The candidate must have a high degree of experience and understanding in SAP Production Planning. Must have the ability manage client relationships, primarily with middle-management and will drive consensus on complex business solutions. The candidate must possess the capability to analyze business and technical requirements; and develop solutions to address the requirements and will provide industry subject matter expertise in Production Planning, Demand Planning, Supply planning processes across Collins Aerospace businesses. The candidate will possess SAP solution implementation experience in at least 1-2 full lifecycles of projects, with customer facing roles and responsibility.

  • Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals.
  • Influences others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Deliver high-quality digital services adhering Security/Compliance.
  • Should possess a natural analytical way of thinking and troubleshooting issues.
  • Apply Process Improvement to support Business Goal and Business Objective
  • Apply Innovation to generate business revenue.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
