Ferring+You
You will join a team within Global IT, responsible for delivering IT solutions across three domains: Portfolio Strategy & Business Development, Clinical Development, and R&D Project & Programme Management.
Your primary responsibility is ownership of Ferring's global Planisware-based system - the platform through which drug development projects are tracked and senior leadership is equipped with the decision support information that drives critical choices. Stewardship of related supporting systems falls within scope as well.
As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will govern the full system lifecycle: from requirements documentation and risk assessment through configuration, testing, deployment, and integration, to ongoing support, upgrades, decommissioning, and data archiving. All of this is carried out in adherence to Ferring's quality and regulatory standards.
Beyond the technical dimension, you will act as a business analyst - working closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational processes, data flow and user behaviour. This dual focus makes you a trusted partner in strategic conversations as much as a steward of the technical infrastructure.
Your Day at Ferring
Managing incidents, changes, and problems in line with ITIL practices, and ensuring SLA compliance across internal and vendor arrangements
Handling light configuration directly and coordinating heavy configuration through vendor collaboration
Gathering business requirements and translating them into well-documented specifications aligned with IT capabilities and industry best practice
Maintaining system documentation and conducting regular system reviews in alignment with Ferring SOPs
Identifying, assessing, and managing system-related risks - and leading CAPAs within Global IT scope
Aligning system roadmaps and priorities with stakeholders to support organisational objectives
Evaluating vendors and systems against Ferring's architecture, compliance, security, cost, and scalability standards
Representing IT in quality audits and inspections, including vendor audits
Collaborating across IT Infrastructure, Security, QA, Compliance, Data Analytics, Master Data, and Integration teams to deliver enhancements and releases successfully
Behind Our Innovation – There’s You
A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
3-5+ years in a comparable analyst role
A strong analytical mindset paired with a genuine service orientation
Fluency in English, with clear written and verbal communication skills
Hands-on configuration experience with SaaS platforms, - ideally with Planisware
A natural instinct to follow root causes and dependencies through to their source
Experience in pharma or another regulated industry, including CSV/qualification
Practical experience with Planisware
Exposure to software development principles, system migration, or large-scale integration
