Senior IT Project Manager

About the role
 

We are currently seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
 

The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for responsible for leading teams to deliver multiple large-scale and complex projects that span one or more products and/or functions that affect major and core elements of Elders’ operations as well as major IT projects that span the entire organisation to achieve key corporate goals. You will play a key role in all phases of the project lifecycle managing resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and control guidelines, in accordance with project objectives and Elders Project Management methodology. This includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including scope, scheduling, resourcing, and execution
• Provide clear direction to project teams on timelines, risks, roles, and escalation pathways
• Develop and maintain critical project and process documentation
• Manage project plans, dependencies, and critical paths with accurate, real-time tracking of milestones and progress
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to manage expectations across business and IT leadership
• Monitor on-site project delivery, ensuring adherence to installation schedules, quality standards, and compliance requirements
• Act as the primary escalation point, proactively managing risks, issues, and change controls with effective mitigation plans
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies, standardising processes, and sharing best practices across teams
   

About you

• 10+ years of experience in managing end to end IT projects in an Enterprise sized environment
• Experience in EUC modernisation, Application Upgrades, and Network Projects
• Experience in Citrix Migrations
• Experience leading large (500+ user) deployment projects
• Experience in Migration of IT applications to Cloud
• Experience in VOIP migrations
• Project management qualification desired (Prince 2, PMP)
