You will play a pivotal role in improving our ERP systems and automation tools, ensuring flawless operational efficiency and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with site manufacturing and operations teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Lead the implementation and improvement of ERP modules related to production, inventory, and quality.
  • Support automation tools and data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI) for reporting and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find opportunities for operational efficiency and digital transformation.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and work with developers or vendors for delivery.
  • Conduct system testing, training, and documentation for users.
  • Apply project management methodologies to manage initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Support change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new tools and processes.
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for site-level business systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Experience with automation tools, data visualization, and Power BI.
  • Proven ability to detail business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaborator management skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management practices (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Life Sciences, Pharma, or Industrial Manufacturing environments.
  • Certification in CBAP, PMP, or Agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or automation technologies (e.g., PLC integration), or equivalent experience.

Working Conditions

  • The role is on-site at the Milwaukee manufacturing facility.
  • May require occasional travel to other Thermo Fisher sites for project coordination.
