We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to lead the delivery of distribution-focused projects across our business. This role plays a critical part in bridging business and technology, ensuring distribution initiatives are translated into high‑quality, scalable IT solutions.

The role will work closely with stakeholders across distribution, sales, operations, technology, and vendors to deliver projects from concept through implementation, with a strong focus on business value, process efficiency, and system integrity.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for distribution projects, including requirements definition, process design, solution validation, and implementation support.

  • Partner with distribution, sales, marketing, operations, and IT stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into clear functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and manage requirements using appropriate artefacts such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and data models.

  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and are delivered on time and within scope.

  • Support solution design by collaborating with architects, developers, and vendors to evaluate options and recommend optimal approaches.

  • Drive workshops, stakeholder interviews, and walkthroughs to achieve alignment and sign-off.

  • Manage requirement changes, dependencies, and impacts throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Support testing activities, including test strategy input, user acceptance testing (UAT) planning, defect triage, and business sign-off.

  • Support implementation and post‑go‑live activities, including change management, training support, and benefits realisation tracking.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis standards, templates, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (typically 8+ years) as an IT Business Analyst, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or lead role.

  • Strong experience delivering distribution, channel, or sales-related projects (e.g. distributor management, agent portals, commission systems, CRM, digital sales platforms).

  • Solid understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC), Agile and/or hybrid delivery models.

  • Strong capability in requirements elicitation, documentation, traceability, and stakeholder management.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior business and IT stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience working with vendors and third-party solution providers.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver in a complex enterprise environment.

  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries.

  • Exposure to digital transformation, cloud platforms, or modern integration architectures (APIs, microservices).

    • Knowledge of data, reporting, or analytics in a distribution or sales context.

    • Business analysis or project-related certifications (e.g. CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA).
