Senior Inventory Analyst

What you will do –

 

The Inventory Analyst is the owner of the Instrument (Inst) inventory count strategy and serves as the central subject matter expert for inventory accuracy, counting methodology, and inventory risk analysis. This role provides strategic oversight and analytical leadership across all inventory pools, ensuring balanced coverage for all customers while supporting compliance, forecasting, and budget alignment. The analyst partners closely with inventory count teams, finance, and commercial stakeholders to optimize inventory utilization and asset deployment.

 

Inventory Count Strategy & Governance

  • Own and continuously improve the Instrument inventory count strategy, including process design, timing, frequency, and execution standards across all inventory pools.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all inventory count teams, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Maintain end‑to‑end knowledge of inventory count processes and ensure consistent application of best practices.
  • Analyze inventory count results, identify risk areas, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate inventory accuracy and compliance risks.

Inventory Risk & Analytical Oversight

  • Perform detailed analysis of inventory data to assess count risk, coverage gaps, and trends across all inventory pools.
  • Develop and maintain reporting that highlights inventory accuracy, exposure, and areas requiring additional control or focus.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to investigate discrepancies and drive root‑cause resolution.

CETE Asset Pool Strategy & Financial Analysis

  • Own CETE Asset Pool analysis and strategy, ensuring alignment with business demand, customer needs, and operational priorities.
  • Support forecasting activities and perform ongoing budget review related to asset pools.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize asset utilization while balancing cost, service levels, and risk.

Inventory Pool Coverage & Customer Equity

  • Analyze inventory distribution to ensure all pools are appropriately and equitably covered across customers.
  • Identify imbalances in inventory allocation and recommend actions to improve coverage, efficiency, and customer support.
  • Collaborate with commercial, operations, and finance partners to align inventory strategies with customer and business requirements.

Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, process efficiency, and analytical capability.
  • Develop and document standard work, metrics, and dashboards to support transparency and decision‑making.
  • Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

 

Required –

  • Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field preferred)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Excel experience

 

Preferred –

  • SAP experience  
  • PowerBI experience

 

  

 

$66,500 - $101,800 USD Annual
