Accountabilities:

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be expected to:

Design & implement, and maintain core IT infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualisation, AI, and cloud platforms).
Provide insights to optimise infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
Assist in troubleshooting and incident response for infrastructure-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure solutions for business projects.
Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture documentation and standards.
Ensure compliance & alignment of infrastructure with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (eg RMIT / CAF / NIST / ISO27001).
Implement and manage robust identity, access, and security controls across infrastructure components.
Automate infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and management processes using scripting and automation tools or IAC.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
Collaborate with IT security teams to integrate security measures into infrastructure.
