Convera is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer - AWS Cloud Platform, who contributes to the design, automation, and governance of largescale AWS environments. The engineer supports secure multi-account architectures, hardened image pipelines, API driven platform services, and AI enabled cloud capabilities that help teams deploy reliably, cost effectively and in alignment with the AWS Well Architected Framework.
You will be responsible for:
Cloud Architecture & Platform Engineering
- Design and implement scalable, available AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB/ALB/NLB, CloudFront, and Global Accelerator.
- Contribute to multi-AZ and multi region disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
- Improve platform performance, cost, and security for enterprise workloads.
- Integrate with AWS Global Accelerator to improve global application performance and availability.
- Implement AWS Private Link for secure, private connectivity to internal and third-party services.
- Deploy and tune CloudFront distributions for global content delivery, edge security, and latency reduction.
- Design and secure API architectures using API Gateway, Lambda, ALB based APIs, and private API endpoints.
Multi Account Strategy & New Account Provisioning
- Support AWS multi account architecture using AWS Organizations and AWS Control Tower.
- Automate new account provisioning with standardized guardrails and baseline security controls.
- Implement SCPs, centralized logging, cross account IAM roles, and enterprise networking standards.
- Apply governance for VPC design, shared services, Private Link endpoints, and inter account connectivity.
Hardened AMI Strategy & Image Management
- Build and support golden AMI pipelines using EC2 Image Builder.
- Develop CIS hardened Linux and Windows AMIs with automated patching and vulnerability remediation using AWS SSM.
- Integrate AMI pipelines with CI/CD workflows to enforce compliance and reduce drift.
- Manage versioning, lifecycle policies, and automated AMI distribution across accounts and regions.
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
- Develop reusable Terraform and CloudFormation modules for platform components.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, environment builds, and platform standardization.
- Implement policy as code using AWS Config rules.
- Automate deployment and lifecycle management of API services include versioning, throttling, and stage promotion.
Security, Compliance & Well Architected Implementation
- Apply the AWS Well Architected Framework across workloads and platform services.
- Participate in Well Architected Reviews and help remediate gaps across all pillars.
- Enforce IAM least privilege, encryption standards, secrets management, and audit controls.
- Implement CloudTrail, Guard Duty, Security Hub, and Config for continuous compliance.
Observability & Reliability Engineering
- Implement centralized monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Grafana, and Datadog.
- Build dashboards, alerts, anomaly detection, and automated remediation workflows.
You should apply if you have:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on AWS engineering experience.
- Experience with multi account governance, landing zone patterns, and cloud security fundamentals.
- Experience building automated golden AMI pipelines with EC2 Image Builder.
- Strong understanding of networking, hybrid connectivity, load balancing, and Private Link.
- Experience with CloudFront, Global Accelerator, and global traffic optimization.
- Experience designing and deploying API architectures using API Gateway, Lambda, and ALB based APIs.
- Knowledge of deploying and managing AWS AI services (Bedrock, SageMaker, etc.).
- Hands on containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) is a plus.
- Strong automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to team wide engineering initiatives.

- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
