Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Lead the delivery of excellent customer service with urgency and ownership
Mentor team members regarding processes and technical skills
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware
Assist in the planning, resource allocation and implementation of IT hardware/software projects
Monitoring and remediating issues with select server systems
Develop computer-based solutions for business needs as required
Maintain accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions
Keep up with the latest hardware and software technologies
Coordinate with internal organization/support groups and/or with vendors
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
5 -7 years of proven experience as an IT support technician or similar role (Preferred)
Knowledge of Digi-Key systems, business, and procedures (Preferred)
Computer & Network Technology A.A.S. degree or related field (Preferred)
Ability to provide direction and guidance to team members and business partners
IT certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) (Preferred)
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
Knowledge in various operating systems (Windows/Mac/Linux/iOS)
Self-motivated
Familiarity with IT security best practices
Excellent communication and customer service skills
The base pay range for this position is:
$28.00to
$40.00Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future. The employer does not offer immigration sponsorship for this opportunity.
Many factors influence the determination of base pay within a range, including the candidate’s work experience in related roles; the candidate’s knowledge, skills, capabilities, and performance; the relative pay of other DigiKey employees in similar roles; and the budget available for the position.
