Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Eng. to join our team in the Wilson, NC plant.

In this role, the Senior Industrial Engineer will analyze and develop work measurement and productivity controls for production departments. Assist with analyzing manufacturing process and machinery for increased efficiency, safety and quality. Prepare detailed cost analysis on labor and methods. Analyze production ticket forecasts and operating efficiency, overtime, staffing & machine utilization. This position requires the ability to learn the production process and equipment in assigned areas. Will communicate with production operators, technicians, finance, leadership, corporate support groups, and counterparts in other production facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision

  • Coaches and reviews the work of lower level Industrial Engineers and co-ops

  • Supports continuous improvement/automation activities

  • Establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel

  • Conducts cost/inventory/production control and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods

  • Assists manufacturing plant/facilities engineers with facility planning and design

  • Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in database management tools is a plus, such as advanced MS software, Power BI, tableau, and experience in any programing software language.
