Job Description:
DTN is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-impact software implementation projects for global enterprise customers. This role is critical to ensuring the successful deployment, adoption, and measurable outcomes of DTN’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Results-as-a-Service (RaaS) solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong project governance capabilities, excels in executive communication, and thrives in fast-paced, matrixed SaaS environments. This role requires travel up to 40%, including international customer visits and cross-functional team alignment meetings.
What You'll Be Responsible for:
Project Delivery & Governance
Lead the planning and execution of customer implementation projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and deliverables are met
Establish and manage project governance structures, including steering committees, risk registers, and escalation paths
Drive project plans in alignment with DTN’s implementation methodology and value realization frameworks for SaaS and RaaS delivery
Customer Engagement & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer project stakeholders, including senior and executive-level contacts
Facilitate discovery and requirements sessions to align DTN’s solutions with customer goals and expected outcomes
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones clearly and regularly to internal and external stakeholders
Build trusted relationships with customer sponsors to ensure confidence in delivery, value realization, and long-term success
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with internal teams across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support to deliver comprehensive SaaS and RaaS solutions
Identify and manage cross-team dependencies to ensure execution excellence and a seamless customer experience
Partner with internal leadership to align project delivery with broader business and customer outcomes
SaaS & RaaS Delivery Excellence
Ensure successful delivery of DTN’s SaaS and RaaS offerings, from onboarding through go-live, early adoption, and measurable results
Proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and maintain project momentum
Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of implementation playbooks and best practices
What You'll Bring to the Position:
7+ years of experience managing customer-facing SaaS implementation projects, ideally with experience in RaaS or outcomes-based delivery models
Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
Strong communication and executive presence, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
Deep understanding of project governance, SaaS delivery methodologies, and risk management
Experience aligning solution capabilities to customer business needs, KPIs, and success criteria
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, Scrum, or other project management certifications
Experience leading digital transformation or large-scale enterprise software implementations
Familiarity with RaaS models, value realization frameworks, and time-to-value metrics
Exposure to customer success and professional services delivery models in B2B SaaS environments
Background working with customers in energy, agriculture, transportation, or other operationally intensive industries
What You Can Expect From DTN:
The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $82,500 and $123,750. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
