Who You’ll Work With
Reporting to the Director of Illustrations, the Sr. Illustrations Analyst supports the implementation, maintenance, training, and platform upgrades of illustration capabilities across all Corebridge annuity products.
About The Role
This role partners with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver accurate, compliant, and scalable illustration solutions that support distribution, customer, and sales objectives, while continuously improving processes and leveraging technology to reduce manual efforts, enhance scalability, and minimize operational risk
Responsibilities
- Product Implementation & Illustration Support:
- Lead and coordinate illustration activities for new product implementations, product changes, and illustration platform upgrades/enhancements across annuity product lines
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for annuity illustration functionality, ensuring accurate representation of product features, alignment with provided actuarial calculation tools, and regulatory guidelines
- Support ongoing rate updates, performance updates, and related testing on the Illustration, Calculator tools, and FinTech platforms
- Act as a senior escalation resource for complex or non-standard illustration scenarios
- Test Planning, Validation & Quality Support:
- Design and execute test plans and test cases for new/enhanced products, features, and system upgrades
- Identify, document, and escalate issues discovered during testing. Coordinate resolution with internal teams and external vendors through product validation production validation.
- Use data fluency and problem-resolution skills to uncover root causes and drive continuous improvement
- Support phased releases, pilots, and post-launch validation activities
- Business & Technical Analysis:
- Translate business, product, and regulatory requirements into BRDs and functional specifications for illustration system changes
- Review and validate technical specifications provided by vendors to ensure accurate implementation of product features and design elements
- Carry out other tasks and assignments as necessary to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective support and implementation of new initiatives and other projects involving sales, distribution partners, and ongoing management of the company’s annuity products
- Vendor & Platform Management:
- Serve as a key point of contact with illustration vendor on assigned initiatives, enhancements, and issue resolution
- Support planning, prioritization, and lead execution of vendor driven illustration enhancements
- Provide input and recommendations to improve vendor solutions, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Process Improvement, Automation & Scalability:
- Identify opportunities to streamline illustration workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency through process improvements and automation
- Support API integrations, robotics process automation (RPA), and future artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives to streamline illustration system operations and data workflows
- Bring an innovative mindset to evaluating new tools and approaches, including AI-enabled capabilities where appropriate
Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in annuity product support, business analysis, illustration system roles, or a related role within financial services
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, math, technology, or relevant field
- Annuity industry experience and product knowledge (strongly preferred)
- Digital design proficiency related to consumer facing collateral
- Experience testing software applications and a thorough understanding of the functional and regression testing cycles
- Ability to understand complex mathematical concepts and review/update complex Excel formulas
- Understanding of functional requirements for third-party integrations and the technical documentation for associated APIs, RPA tools, and digital integration workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting, and adhere to deadlines
- Exceptional organization and follow-up skills
- Experience identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, or efficiency improvements in operational or product support environments
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000 to 97000at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.
