The Job:  

As a Senior Human Resource Director, you’ll be part of our global HR GSC DC team working as a hybrid employee.    You’ll get to:  

  • Provides strategic and operational HR leadership to support a distributed network of warehouses, distribution centers, and logistics operations.
  • Partners closely with senior business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management, and a high-performance culture aligned with business objectives. 
  • In addition to their direct scope in The Americas, this role will serve as the main point of contact for the global HR GSC DC leaders to ensure they are aligned and part of the global Logistics & Distribution strategy. 
  • Develop and execute the HR strategy for logistics and distribution operations across The Americas, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to set the global Logistics & Distribution strategy, including supporting large-scale transformation. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, influencing business decisions and aligning talent solutions with global supply chain priorities.
  • Build strategic partnerships with global business leaders, regional HR teams, and external partners in a highly matrixed environment to foster collaboration and deliver enterprise-wide impact.
  • Lead strategic workforce planning and capability development to ensure agility, scalability, and readiness for emerging business challenges worldwide. Oversee employee relations, performance management, and succession planning for our North American Distribution and Logistics teams. 
  • Oversee employee relations, labor relations (including union environments where applicable), and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Lead initiatives for talent development, succession planning, and leadership pipeline building within logistics and distribution teams.
  • Manage performance management processes and ensure effective coaching, feedback, and development plans for leaders and employees.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and rewards programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Implement and monitor HR metrics, analyzing trends to recommend and execute improvements.
  • Ensure safety, health, and wellness programs are integrated into HR practices and support a culture of safety.
  • Lead or support HR projects related to M&A, systems implementation, or process optimization as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role supporting logistics, distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience in multi-site HR support, including both exempt and non-exempt employee populations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leaders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support distributed sites.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $115,800 – $199,755 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
