Senior HRBP

Key Responsibilities:

・Acts as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders and managers, strengthening leadership effectiveness and decision-making through ongoing partnership and follow-through.
• Lead cross-company HR projects and programs partnering with peer HRBPs, Centers of Excellence, and HR Operations.
• Identifies capability gaps and accelerates readiness through integrated development plans leveraging our global content alongside external programs in Japan.
• Drives the full succession and talent pipeline lifecycle, partnering with leaders on successor identification, readiness assessments, and development actions to support business growth, risk mitigation, and internal mobility.
• Acts as a change agent and trusted advisor to leaders, shaping decisions through data‑driven insights and stakeholder partnership to elevate leadership capability and organizational effectiveness.
• Partners with Talent Acquisition to drive effective hiring decisions, improving speed, quality, and efficiency, reducing Time‑to‑Fill, and building proactive, future‑focused talent pipelines aligned with organizational needs, leadership potential, and cultural fit.
• Supports employer branding initiatives, positioning the company as an employer of choice.
• Serves as a key dispute resolution partner, leading complex employee relations matters—including investigations, performance management, and workplace conflicts—in close collaboration with Legal and Ethics & Compliance, ensuring decisions are grounded in the Company Code of Conduct, internal policies and applicable Japan labor laws and regulations.
• Refine processes, build efficient people management frameworks, and deliver ongoing training that strengthens managers’ understanding.
• Creates an employee‑friendly HR information framework in partnership with HR Operations, ensuring clear, structured, and up‑to‑date HR content that supports a positive and consistent employee experience.
• Partners with Total Rewards to drive Pay for Performance through ongoing employee communication and information sessions, enhancing understanding, acceptance, and effective use of reward programs aligned with business and performance outcomes

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• 7+ years progressive HR experience including HRBP roles with strong exposure to Talent 
Management, Leadership Development, and Organizational transformation.
• Business acumen with data-driven decision making, problem-solving, and strategic thinking 
capabilities.
• Strong program and project management capability with a proven track record of designing, 
launching, and driving complex people initiatives through execution.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Fluent English and Japanese in both speaking and writing. 
• Culturally adept in operating in Japan and within regional/global environments
