Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland has over 30 years experience and specialises in treating and monitoring respiratory diseases in the patient's home supporting multiple therapies:

  • Home Oxygen

  • Nebulisers

  • Ventilations

  • Sleep

We currently provide such therapies to over 10,000 patients across Ireland (combined private and public healthcare). Our field based operations team consist of Healthcare Technicians and Patient Care & Sales Specialists, who ensure that our patients receive the support that they need whilst using our equipment. From installation, training on how to use equipment, servicing and removal.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior HR Business Partner is the first point of contact for all generalist HR activities in Ireland. You will coordinate and assist the completion of all employee relationships topics in a timely manner. This will include supporting all levels of management in the country. You will also support senior managers and managers in employee relations processes. This role will also work on the development of strategic workforce KPI’s and accurate completion of monthly MI reports.

Example activities you will complete:

  • Partner directly with the executive team to translate core business goals (e.g., market expansion, product development) into clear, actionable workforce plans and HR strategies with clear KPIs.

  • Advise leadership on structural adjustments, defining roles, and manage the talent management process including succession and talent mapping in addition to planning future staffing needs to optimize team efficiency and prepare the company for scale.

  • Facilitate talent reviews to identify high-potential employees and develop meaningful development  plans for critical leadership and specialized roles.

  • Develop, revise, and communicate all internal HR policies and the Employee Handbook ensuring compliance with local labour laws and regulations.

  • Actively promote company values and deploy initiatives (e.g. engagement surveys, social events) that reinforce a positive, inclusive, and performance-oriented culture.

  • Support the delivery of the full employee life cycle process which will include inductions, probation sign off and exit interviews. 

  • Support the organisation as a point of contact for people related issues.

  • Manage employee relations processes including disciplinary, grievance, performance, redundancy, absence management. 

  • Provide monthly reporting of accurate workforce KPIs. Provide analysis and interpretation of data to transfer into commercial solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with the talent acquisition team to facilitate the development of employees and management, ensuring that appropriate learning and development initiatives are properly implemented, as well as to attract and select future talent.

  • Participate in administrative and transactional processes, including payroll processing, and HR systems data integrity.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in autonomous HR leadership role

  • Ability to work autonomously, in a team environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience of Workday is desirable but not essential

  • CIPD or similar HR related qualification required

  • Able to build strong relationships with people at all levels of the organisation.

  • Enjoys working as part of a team and collaboration, but can also work with a degree of autonomy

  • Understanding of payroll administration preferrable

  • Ambition and willingness to progress in the organisation
