The role will play a key part in shaping the visual output of a globally recognised auction house within a dynamic and creative environment. You’ll work on high-profile exhibitions and campaigns, collaborating with passionate teams and contributing to impactful, world-class creative work.
This role sits within the Marketing department and is responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality creative output across a wide range of print and campaign assets. This role sits in the in-house Creative Studio, here at Christie’s, supporting the EMEA region. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an incredible team, with the privilege of working on campaigns for some of the world’s most prestigious art pieces.
The successful candidate will oversee a small team of Graphic Designers and Artworkers, ensuring all work meets brand standards and is delivered to an exceptional level of craft and accuracy. This is a fast-paced, reactive environment, requiring someone who is confident, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects with quick turnaround times.
How You'll Make an Impact
Lead, mentor, and oversee a small team of Graphic Designers and Artworkers, ensuring high performance and development.
Take ownership of all printed assets produced by the studio, with full responsibility for reviewing and approving work before release
Be responsible for budget management with the stakeholders for printed collateral
Ensure all creative output aligns with brand guidelines and maintains consistency across all touchpoints.
Collaborate closely with the Exhibitions and Copy teams to develop creative for exhibitions, auctions, and marketing campaigns.
Design and oversee production of a wide range of materials including:
Exhibition branding and identity
Printed collateral (catalogues, brochures, signage packs)
Window graphics and large-scale print
Merchandise such as tote bags
Podcast visual assets and promotional materials
Be present during exhibition installations to ensure all creative is implemented to the highest standard.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced studio environment, confidently managing tight deadlines and rapid turnaround requests.
Present creative concepts and ideas to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
Respond constructively to feedback, iterating on designs where required while maintaining creative integrity.
Ensure smooth workflow management within the team, supporting processes and timelines.
What you’ll bring to the team
Proven experience in a Senior Graphic Designer role, ideally within an in-house or fast-paced studio environment.
Experience managing or mentoring designers and artworkers.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in print design, branding, and campaign work.
Excellent understanding of print production processes and specifications.
High attention to detail with strong quality control and approval experience.
Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under pressure.
Proficiency in the latest creative design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard software).
Experience using workflow management tools such as Monday.com is a plus.
A background or strong interest in art and culture is highly desirable.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
