Senior Project Manager - Transformation

Mintel is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Business Transformation team. In this role, you will lead and coordinate strategic transformation programmes that enable Mintel to scale efficiently and deliver operational excellence, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology adoption, and process improvement initiatives across our global teams.

What You'll Do
Programme Leadership
  • Lead multiple concurrent transformation projects within a unified programme structure, maintaining clarity on priorities, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
  • Ensure all initiatives align with Mintel's strategic objectives, translating high-level goals into actionable programme plans.
Strategic Planning & Governance
  • Define programme scope, objectives, and measurable success criteria from the outset.
  • Design and maintain governance frameworks, reporting cadence, and stakeholder engagement plans that keep programmes on track and visible to the business.
Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between senior leadership, cross-functional project teams, and external partners.
  • Deliver clear, timely communication on progress, risks, and outcomes - adapting your approach to suit different audiences.
Risk & Issue Management
  • Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies before they impact delivery.
  • Take ownership of escalations, resolving issues quickly to protect timelines and programme integrity.
Process Improvement & Change Management
  • Champion continuous improvement across all programmes, embedding better ways of working into the fabric of the organisation.
  • Work with the rest of the business transformation team to lead the adoption of new processes and technologies, ensuring change is managed effectively and teams are brought on the journey.
Performance & Reporting
  • Define and track KPIs that provide meaningful insight into productivity, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Produce executive-level reporting and presentations that clearly communicate programme health and impact to senior stakeholders.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven track record of delivering, multi-workstream programmes within a global organisation.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage at senior levels.
  • Solid expertise in programme governance, risk management, and change management frameworks.
  • Experience working on digital transformation, AI enablement, or process optimisation initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication skills - able to distil complex, technical concepts into clear business language.
  • PMP, MSP, or equivalent certification is preferred, though not essential for the right candidate.
