You will shape visual strategies across a wide range of internal and external communications, translating complex information into clear, high-impact digital and print artwork. You will guide projects autonomously from the initial strategy and conceptualization phases through to final production, ensuring all products meet strict quality and security standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advanced Technical Skillset: Mastery of tradecraft ensures that elements like typography, layout, and color are perfectly executed, creating a polished final product that conveys quality and builds trust.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the proven ability to confidently present design concepts, articulate creative rationale, and collaborate effectively with enterprise-wide stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Emerging Technologies: Proactive interest in researching and leveraging the latest design tools and industry trends to drive creative innovation and team efficiency.
- Strategic Consultation: Act as a strategic design consultant with high emotional intelligence. Actively listen to customer requirements, uncover the root of their requests, identify the best visual solutions, and confidently articulate the rationale behind design choices to build long-term, trusted partnerships.
- Mission-Driven Creative Execution: Translate complex, technical, or detail-rich data and distill it into clear, digestible, and visually engaging graphics across print, digital, and environmental mediums. Ensure high-grade accuracy and compliance with complex data, brand standards, and classification guidelines prior to final delivery, recognizing that accuracy is critical to the customer's mission.
- Timeline and Scope Management: Proactively manage assigned workload and project timelines within Workamajig. Exhibit a strong grasp of project scope management by identifying scope creep early, diplomatically realigning stakeholder expectations, and keeping deliverables strictly on track.
- Collaborative Mentorship: Foster a collaborative, team-first mentality with a willingness to share knowledge, provide feedback in constructive creative critiques, and help elevate the overall visual output and efficiency of the design team.
- Secure Production and Pre-flight: Conduct basic digital press and large-format printing functions, perform pre-flight checks, and safely operate print production and production equipment within secure facility guidelines.
