How you’ll make an impact

Are you an experienced full stack developer who enjoys back-end development and using your skills to strengthen a domain that underpins lending confidence? Join our Agile team in Collateral Management, where you’ll build and evolve capabilities that support FCC’s collateral and security ecosystem (including assets, agreements, and valuations) and help ensure our lending systems remain trustworthy, scalable, and ready for what’s next.

In this role, you’ll operate as a senior technical leader- delivering complex solutions and helping shape technical direction through thoughtful design decisions, strong patterns and practices, and a commitment to smart, clean, maintainable code. You’ll translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical partners, collaborate closely with product owners, analysts, architects, developers, and stakeholders, and coach others to continuously improve team delivery and ways of working. You’ll also keep an eye on how we design for business value by optimizing solutions to better enable insight and analytics across the domain.

If you’re naturally curious, customer-focused, and energized by solving hard problems while mentoring others along the way, this could be a great fit.

What you’ll do

  • Participate in the architectural direction of solutions and be responsible for the design and implementation of complex components
  • Analyze, design, and develop clean, maintainable, and efficient technical solutions that support FCC business systems
  • Develop new code, including automation, integrations, and unit tests, and implement code fixes to support system stability and user testing
  • Participate in and/or lead application design sessions, contributing to sound technical decisions and design patterns
  • Actively contribute to code reviews, providing constructive feedback that improves code quality and team capability
  • Participate in or lead group design and coding sessions, sharing knowledge and promoting consistent development practices
  • Collaborate within an Agile team to deliver product stories and meet sprint commitments
  • Help bridge technical requirements with operational and user needs by working closely with product owners, analysts, and stakeholders
  • Ensure technical solutions and system integrations are developed and maintained in the most efficient and effective manner

What you’ll bring to the team

    • Hibernate
    • PostgreSQL, SQL and DDL
    • Angular 16+
