We’re looking for a Senior Fraud & Payments Specialist to drive fraud prevention initiatives, optimize payment performance, and protect revenue across online and offline channels.

This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping fraud and payment strategies within a global omnichannel environment, working closely with internal teams and leading external partners to mitigate risk, improve authorization rates, and support sustainable business growth.

Please note that this is a 18-month maternity cover.

About the Job

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead fraud prevention and payment optimization initiatives to improve authorization rates and reduce costs

• Translate fraud and behavioral data into clear actions, business cases, and recommendations

• Own the end-to-end dispute and chargeback lifecycle

• Proactively manage fraud attacks and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks

• Perform daily risk and fraud analysis on high-risk transactions while enabling revenue

• Provide 2nd-level support for payment- and fraud-related customer inquiries

• Monitor and report on key payment KPIs, rule performance, and fraud trends

• Collaborate closely with Digital teams, Checkout Owner, and the Corporate Omnichannel Payment & Fraud Prevention Manager

• Prepare strategic KPI reports, ad hoc analysis, and participate in quarterly business reviews with partners

About You

We are looking for a unique and passionate talent who brings:

• At least 4 years of experience in fraud prevention, payments, or similar roles

• Proven track record in payment optimization and fraud-to-loss reduction

• Experience working with payment service providers and fraud prevention partners (e.g. Adyen, PayPal, Global Payments)

• Solid understanding of retail payment flows, card schemes, fraud rules, and regulations such as PSD2 and 3DS

• Strong analytical skills with experience building, tracking, and reporting on complex data sets

• Comfortable creating and optimizing fraud prevention rules and reacting quickly to emerging risks

• Confident supporting senior management with clear insights and recommendations

• Excellent communication skills in English; experience with ATO, policy abuse, or refund abuse is a plus
