Job Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with various functions globally (e.g., Inventory Team, Costing Team, Supply Chain Management) to understand their problem statements and provide expert guidance on the most effective automation and analytical solutions.
- Project Planning & Management: Lead and manage multiple analytics and automation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project objectives.
- Data Analysis & Architecture: Design and implement robust data models/architectures to support advanced analytics and reporting needs. Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends.
- BI Development: Develop and maintain business intelligence (BI) tools and dashboards that provide real-time insights to finance and management teams.
- Workflow Automation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand existing business workflows, identify automation opportunities, and design and implement scalable automation solutions
- Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks in business processes and data systems, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and advance their careers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other analysts and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of analytics solutions with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science or a related field. Professional certifications or advanced degrees is a plus (CPA, CMA, MBA, MS).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a related role within a manufacturing or finance environment. Strong preference for candidates with financial controlling experience in technology manufacturing industries and/or similar consultative backgrounds.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView, Tableau)
- Strong understanding of semantic modeling, reporting layers, and BI performance optimization
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial modules (e.g., SAP)
- Advanced Excel skills for analysis and validation
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on simplifying complex processes and extracting actionable insights from data.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically about how to leverage data and analytics to drive business outcomes.
- Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of data and analytical outputs.
- Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
