About The Role
The Senior Associate – Finance System Transformation (Workday Finance) will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our Workday Financial Management ecosystem. This role acts as a functional subject-matter expert, partnering closely with Finance, HR, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure Workday Finance remains accurate, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
You will be responsible for day-to-day system troubleshooting, configuration updates, reporting enhancements, and supporting Finance operational cycles such as month-end close, supplier payments, banking integrations, and financial data integrity. This role also contributes to ongoing digital transformation initiatives, including automation, integration improvements, and Workday feature adoption.
What You Will Do
- Provide daily functional support for Workday Finance, covering core Financials, Accounting Journals, Banking & Settlement, Supplier/Customer Accounts, and Financial Reporting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system incidents, data issues, and process gaps in a timely manner.
- Perform configuration updates, including accounting rules, validation rules, calculated fields, EIB templates, and related financial business processes.
- Maintain and enhance Workday financial reports and dashboards for Finance users.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual Finance activities such as close process, account reconciliations, and financial data validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Engineering, People) on integrations, data quality, and downstream system impacts.
- Document system changes, troubleshoot logs, configuration updates, and maintain SOPs/playbooks.
- Analyze Finance processes and recommend improvements aligned with FST’s transformation roadmap.
- Support project-based initiatives, including new system enhancements, automation, and integration upgrades.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting Workday Finance or similar ERP/Financial Systems.
- Strong understanding of core Workday Financials modules: Accounting Journals, Banking & Settlement, Supplier/Customer Accounts, Business Assets, and Financial Reporting.
- Experience in system configuration, business process setup, and functional troubleshooting.
- Good analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and EIB templates.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
