Easygo is the Australian technology power-house behind global brands Stake, KICK, and Twist Gaming. Following the successful launch of our Belgrade office, which has quickly scaled to over 10 engineers, we are now looking for our first dedicated Finance hire in Serbia.
This is a unique opportunity to transition from an external support model to a fully integrated internal finance function. As the founding member of the local finance team, you will have the autonomy to establish processes and own the financial landscape for our Serbian operations, while being supported by our global headquarters in Melbourne.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations in Belgrade, ensuring alignment between local requirements and global standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish Systems: Implement and maintain internal accounting practices and procedures in accordance with Group policy and Serbian legal requirements.
- Operational Finance: Manage daily financial activities, including treasury, cash flow, and working capital management.
- Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Compliance & Tax: Own the local regulatory landscape, including tax filings, exemptions, and statutory compliance.
- Strategic Support: Provide financial insights and develop budgets that align with the company’s long-term strategic objectives.
Who You Are
- Qualified Professional: Minimum of 7 years of financial accounting experience with a CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent), supported by a sound knowledge of financial control, reporting, and accounting principles and practices.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in Software Development, SaaS, or a high-growth tech environment is highly regarded.
- Autonomous & Proactive: You are comfortable being the first person on the ground and have the ability to work independently.
- Communication: Proficiency in English is essential, with the ability to communicate complex financial data to both local and international stakeholders.
