Summary:


In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner within the Member Value team, delivering advanced analytics and financial insights that directly impact client performance. You will identify opportunities for cost optimization, operational improvement, and value creation by leveraging Vizient data assets, industry expertise, and emerging AI capabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop actionable recommendations, enhance analytical processes, and support initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and measurable client outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial and operational models to support client performance improvement initiatives.

  • Analyze healthcare, financial, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for clients.

  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that drive measurable value, including cost savings, utilization improvements, and margin enhancement.

  • Support and enhance Member Value deliverables, including reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.

  • Partner with internal teams to align analytical insights with client needs and strategic priorities.

  • Lead forecasting, benchmarking, and performance tracking efforts for client engagements.

  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation across analytics and reporting workflows.

  • Develop and implement AI-enabled use cases that improve efficiency, scalability, and client-facing value delivery.

  • Evaluate and incorporate AI and advanced analytics tools into existing analytical processes.

  • Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience working with healthcare data, including claims, supply chain, clinical, or operational data preferred.

  • Advanced skills in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis required.

  • Experience with SAP Adaptive, Workday, or similar financial systems preferred.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred.

  • Exposure to AI, automation, or advanced analytics tools preferred.

  • Understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement models, and performance improvement strategies required.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed, client-focused environment and mentor team members.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.
