Senior Financial Analyst

The finance team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to join them and provide analytical support for key functional areas within TigerConnect as we scale. In this role, you’ll partner with senior leaders across technology, product, and G&A teams to provide key analytical insights and guidance with financial modeling, forecasting trends and collaborative problem solving. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Analyst to work with senior leaders and help drive business decisions that will impact the direction of the company.  

 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Support the annual budgeting process, including materials for Board meetings with narratives, business explanations, and financial forecasts  

  • Assist in updating the company’s long-range financial forecast model and partner with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the modeling assumptions are reasonable and current  

  • Serve as one of the executive level key business partners for our R&D and G&A functions and provide support for all planning, forecasting and analysis activities  

  • Become the key expert in our planning tool, Adaptive Planning, and refine processes and systems to optimize the efficiency and performance of the FP&A team  

  • Assess return on investment for capital requests and product development initiatives  

  • Analyze cohort data and other relevant operational metrics to help us build an operationally excellent organization  

  • Provide analytical / decision support (ROI, benchmarking, etc.) on key company decisions (partnerships, key customer contracts, M&A activities, etc.)  

  • Support financial modeling and evaluation for prospective M&A opportunities  

  • Embrace high-impact, dynamic projects while navigating challenges of uncertainty, data limitations, and multiple stakeholders 

 

What You Bring: 

  • 4 – 7+ years of relevant analytical and management experience in Tech / SaaS Product Finance, FP&A or technology investing (VC/PE/fund) with a service oriented mindset  

  • Experience supporting subscription/SaaS business and good understanding of subscription/SaaS business metrics and models preferred  

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a similar discipline; MBA, CFA or CPA a plus  

  • Prior experience with NetSuite, Salesforce.com, or Adaptive Planning is a plus 

  • An analytical mindset and an ability to use data to drive insights and recommendations   

  • Team player with high EQ and sense of ownership, comfort with ambiguity and a “no job too small” startup mentality  

  • Proficient communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills and comfort in conducting themselves in front of an executive level audience  

  • High integrity and performance standards; passion for learning and continuous improvement  

  • Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and project manage to deliver on critical deadlines 

  • Technology enthusiast and AI evangelist
