The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the PGA TOUR’s financial planning, reporting, analysis, and accounting functions for Operated Events. This role supports the alignment of financial processes with business objectives and contributes to ongoing improvements in planning and performance measurement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Five years of overall experience in Finance or Accounting related roles, with two years dedicated Financial Planning & Analysis and/or business analytics experience required
- Experience preparing financial statements, consolidation, and management presentations
- Hands-on experience with Adaptive Planning/Workday or equivalent enterprise planning tools
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Reporting & Analysis – Execute monthly reporting, variance analysis, and presentations that provide clear insight on financial performance versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Planning & Forecasting – Responsible for supporting and preparing annual budget, forecast and long-range plan for Operated Events.
- Contract Management & Analysis – Responsible for financial review and ongoing tracking of contractual commitments; ensures accurate forecasting, accruals, and budget alignment.
- Accounting & Month-end Close Support – Support month‑end and quarter‑end close, including account analysis, variance resolution, and audit support to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Cross-Functional Business Support – Serve as a finance partner to Events Operations team, collaborating cross‑functionally to align financial results with business activity and provide data‑driven insights to management.
- Reporting, Controls & Process Improvement – Maintain financial reporting and planning tools while strengthening controls, accuracy, and process compliance.
- Special Projects – Contribute to strategic initiatives, system enhancements and special projects as assigned.
